What it is
The ÎÞÂëÂÒÂ× EOP is a document that uses an all-hazards approach to establish policies and responsibilities for University staff and faculty in the event of an emergency.
What it is for
The ÎÞÂëÂÒÂ× EOP explains how the University will manage emergencies on any of the University campuses through the preparedness, mitigation, and response and recovery phases in order:
- Protect life, property and the environment
- Promote safety of students, faculty, staff and visitors
- Describe the mechanisms for disaster response coordination among University staff and volunteers, local government and first responders in the management of emergencies or disasters
- Assign emergency management tasks to University staff and faculty as appropriate for response to natural and man-made hazards.
