ÎÞÂëÂÒÂ× community garden plots available
The garden is located between the Fairbanks campus and West Valley High School on the old Fairbanks Street. This program is available to ÎÞÂëÂÒÂ× students and employees as well as members of the public.
The cost is $40 per plot ($20 for full-time ÎÞÂëÂÒÂ× students) and includes one 4-by-12-foot bed, access to water and tools inside a fenced area (no moose!) and lots of sun.
Members should attend to their plot at least one day a week during the growing season to help keep the space tidy. For more information or to register, email uaf-garden@alaska.edu.
