Vaccination Requirement Request Approval - Northwest Campus Tribal Management Course

The University of Alaska System policy states that vaccination requirements may only be made by exception and must be approved by the President at the request of the Chancellor.

I have received your request for a vaccination requirement for the following:

ĪŽĀėĀŅĀ× FACULTY, STAFF AND STUDENTS PARTICIPATING IN THE NORTHWEST CAMPUSā€™ TRIBAL MANAGEMENT COURSE, SPRING 2022

Based on your request and President Pitneyā€™s approval, I am herewith authorizing a vaccination requirement (with medical and non-medical-religious exemptions).

Please see the procedures laid out in the September 17, 2021 memo from Chief Human Resources Officer Bishko titled ā€œGuidelines for Supervisors Regarding COVID-19 Vaccinations and Face Coveringsā€ ().  The memo has links to exemption forms for employees.  Student exemptions are issued by the Center for Student Rights and Responsibilities (non-medical), or the Student Health and Counseling Center (medical).  The memo can be found at:
