New Prize Competition to Advance Net-Load Forecasting

Probabilistic net-load forecasting is a powerful tool that can help utilities securely and reliably integrate large amounts of energy resources into the grid. A new $600,000 American-Made Net Load Forecasting Prize is open to organizations with solutions to make net-load forecasting efforts more accurate, allowing for more cost-efficient planning and dispatch of energy generation and storage. Interested teams are invited to join an  on Feb. 20 at 11 a.m. to learn about deadlines, eligibility and more.
