Governor Declares Alaska Clean Energy Week, Sept. 26-30, 2022
Alaska Gov. Mike Dunleavy has declared Sept. 26-30, 2022, Alaska Clean Energy Week.
Alaska Clean Energy Week āencourages all Alaskans, local governments, corporations, and small businesses to support common sense solutions to address the United Statesā evolving economic and energy needs and tap into Alaskaās limitless potential to develop clean, sustainable energy solutions for our future,ā according to the governor's proclamation.
The proclamation cites āAlaskaās abundance of renewable and clean energy sources, including natural gas, geothermal, wind, tidal, hydro, and solarā¦ā as attributes that can make the state a leader in energy independence.
