Governor Declares Alaska Clean Energy Week, Sept. 26-30, 2022

 

Alaska Gov. Mike Dunleavy has declared Sept. 26-30, 2022, Alaska Clean Energy Week.

Alaska Clean Energy Week ā€œencourages all Alaskans, local governments, corporations, and small businesses to support common sense solutions to address the United Statesā€™ evolving economic and energy needs and tap into Alaskaā€™s limitless potential to develop clean, sustainable energy solutions for our future,ā€ according to the governor's proclamation.

The proclamation cites ā€œAlaskaā€™s abundance of renewable and clean energy sources, including natural gas, geothermal, wind, tidal, hydro, and solarā€¦ā€ as attributes that can make the state a leader in energy independence.
